 it gets dark every now and then  

you’re lost, you can’t find your way 

whispers trying to take you the wrong way

you listen and follow where it leads 

you think you’re broken within 

you give up, and never care for repairs

you stop believing and start packing to leave  

you never pursue your dreams 

you lose everything you own 

you see your future fade away 

one day you realize everything 

how fu**ed up the situation is 

so you feel sorry for yourself 

at this point, it doesn’t even matter

you close your eyes and say 

time will pass by, and you’re gonna be okay

you embrace what you feel and heal 

you believe in yourself 

because you’re the only one who knows 

how tough and brave you can be

you chase after what you want

you get there and feel free
