take good care of your little ones 

life can get harsh somedays

don’t add scars to already existing ones

be gentle, handle them with care

tell them you love them from day to day

ask if they’re okay 

offer help when they seem not okay 

don’t you ever dare make them feel unsafe

be the home they seek when they feel afraid 

words can be weapons, so careful with what you say

even if they’re adults, it hurts just the same

don’t scar them for life and leave some to mistakes
